It is important to send an email to everyone you send ad-mail to so that they have the opportunity to consent to receiving such emails from you. If you do not have the express consent of the receipient, you should stop includng them in your email correspondence.

Health and Safety Awareness Training
The deadline for compliance with the Ministry of Labour OHSA awareness training is Jun 30 2014.
I have taken both the employee and supervisor courses myself so that I can be prepared to answer your questions.
All employees MUST take the employee training module (at a minimum) and it takes about 45-60 minutes to complete.
All employers, and supervisors with control over employee workflow, MUST complete the employer training module (at a minimum) and it is also about 45-60 minutes to complete.
The two most important "nuggets" I personally got from the employer module are:
"Practice what you preach"
"Be a role model"
The most important "nuggets" I personally got from the employee module is:
"Follow the law",
"Know the hazards",
"Tell employers about new hazards"
"Wear all required safety gear"
Requirement minimum standards:
0-5 employees: each employee must complete the eLearning module and print out their certification
6-19 employees: each employee must complete the eLearning module and print out their certification and there must be an employee health and safety rep (chosen BY the employees)
20+ employees: each employee must complete the eLearning module and print out their certification and along with the employee health and safety rep there must be a Joint Health and safety committee.
Employers must ensure that if there are more than 5 employees, the employee chosen Health and Safety Rep's name must be published in a prominent area for all staff to see and there must also be posted the employer's Health and Safety Policy.
